Day 54

I love spruce trees! Pretty much because they remind me of Christmas :) We always have a live tree in our house and I have told my boyfriend many times that if we get married I want many many trees around the house during Christmas time :) Not only are these trees incredibly unique they also smell soooo good! Course I can only smell the smell around Christmas time which is sad. So, I am thankful for these awesome trees :)

Day 53

Lilac trees hold a special place in my heart. These are my Gran's favorite! So every time I see a lilac I think of her. Naturally these are one of my favorite trees :) They are so pretty also, just in themselves. And their flowers let off a fantastic aroma! I am thankful for these trees :)

Day 52

I really don't know why but I love oak trees. I think they are really beautiful! :) Big trees are so awesome! They are just majestic and the skyscrapers of the natural world :) Of course I don't think that squirrels and birds get light headed or dizzy at the top of these trees. I am very thankful for these giants :)

Day 51

There is nothing I like better than to go into the Great Smokey Mountains! They are so beautiful! With that aside that is the only place that I have found blackberry trees to eat from. Blackberries are the best berry, in my eyes, so I enjoy these trees very much! :) They are really cute too! I have always seen these trees short, so I believe they stay that way, and there leaves are cool! Blackberry trees make me happy and bring on good memories.

Day 50

Ooo the big 5 0. I feel this deserves a moment of silence.......so this week I am thankful for trees! Trees are amazing. And not only because they give us oxygen so we can survive but because of how beautiful and plentiful they are. I am a tree lover, indeed :) Not really a tree hugger though. First off, the crabapple tree. I know that there are a few of these but I'm not sure which one I like the most. They are pretty small trees, from what I have seen and they have natures sour candy on it! If you like sour things you'll love a crabapple.

Day 49

Better Homes and Gardens :) Found this on their sight and what gold! I love this idea :) It's slightly high maintenance because you have to change the leaves out when they start dieing but how cute is this! I would hang these sun catchers up in my house in a heart beat. This is a great and unique way to bring spring into your house. I am very thankful for this and the creative minds behind it :)

Day 48

So I have this problem, I can not keep flowers alive to save my life! I tend to kill any living plant that I touch. With that being said, these are perfect for me! Not only are they not alive flowers(so I can't kill them;)), but they are so cute and creative! These are yarn flowers, which I want to learn how to make :) So cute! Day 47

I always thought that wreaths were just for Thanksgiving and Christmas time. But when I came across this picture it hit me that there is no rule that says you can't have a wreath in other seasons! So I am so going to buy or make one these cute spring wreaths sometime soon! I found this picture from the Pier 1 Imports sight. There were many other cute spring wreaths there also.

This is soooo cute! I fell in love with it at first sight :) This is one of the most unique yet pretty things I have seen. I got this from Better Homes and Gardens online sight. A very cute way to spice up any room or even outside the home!

Day 45

Nothing says spring like flowers! When i think of spring, flowers are one of the first things that pop into my head :) So of course flowers are one of the things I have to write about! These flowers are from the site stylelist.com. So cute, right!? This is a great idea and it's a unique one. I don't really like it when there are just flowers in a vase. That is way too cliché! So this makes the flowers very extra ordinary :)

Day 44

I love owls :) I think nothing says spring like a cute little owl figure! Maybe it's just me, though :) These cute little owls are from Pier One Imports. If I was rich I would buy stuff from there everyday! I love that store :) But anyways, these cute little owls can brighten up a room. I am very thankful for them and others like them :)

Day 43

It's a bit late for me to be blogging but I had a busy day :) So this week I thought that I would focus on spring decor. Sometimes it is difficult to bring spring into the house. Nothing says spring, though, like new bright decor! Today I have ceiling rosettes for the wall. I love this idea! And you can take them down and put pictures up or other decor when the seasons change. This is also a great summer piece as well, so you don't have to take it down after spring! :) These that I found are from the Better Homes and Gardens online sight. So sunny and springy! :)

Day 42

Ah, my all time favorite bird, the Black Capped Chickadee :) I LOVE these birds! And honestly, I have no clue why. I have liked them ever since I was around 12 and they have been my favorite ever since then. I have weird things that I love for no apparent reason. Kind of like my love for Elvis and Abraham Lincoln... I don't really know why, I just know that these things make me smile :) All I know is, I am thankful for these birdies! :) These birds calls are so cute and they are so cute! Day 41

I love owls :) I think that they are all pretty. Before I was crazy about them though I fell in love with Hedwig from Harry Potter. I think everyone who has watched that movie has fallen in love with her :) So probably my favorite owl is still the Snowy Owl. They are so beautiful and majestic :)

Day 40

So, if you were to ask my boyfriend he says I'm crazy about these birds, but I'm really not :) Red Winged Blackbirds are just so neat! They are the contrast of nature to me. There red is so vibrant and there black is so dark. I just think that they are so beautiful so every time I see one I have to point it out :) I am very thankful for these little birdies! And as I was researching these guys to put a link up for everyone to check them out I found out that the females are brown. What?! That's not a red winged blackbird haha!

Day 39

I eventually want to get a tattoo. I know, everyone gets one and it's a fad. But I do not want to get one because it is popular, I want to get one because of the things that I never want to forget. For instance, I want to get one of my wedding finger with my husbands name on it after I am married. Like a tattoo wedding ring, so that I always have that reminder there. The one I have been thinking about for a while now is two sparrows. I'm not sure where to put them or when, if ever, I will get them. Sparrows signify freedom, so with these I want to show me and God flying in freedom together. Because of what he did for me on the cross I am now free. So with that today I am thankful for sparrows today! Enough said :)

Day 38

My Mom's all time favorite bird is a hummingbird. We always had a hummingbird feeder and she loved to just sit out and watch them. One of my favorite hummingbirds is a White Eared Hummingbird. These little guys are so cute! :) I love how small hummingbirds are, it is almost as if they are insects. I am a fan of small animals. they are so cute! :) There's a site here that give you what they sound like and a bit of information, I am thankful for these little bids! :)

Day 37

Great Blue Herons are beautiful creatures! I love to watch them wad in the water then take off in flight. I find them to be so majestic. They are the supermodels of the nature world, super tall and super skinny ;) I'm not much of a big bird fan really. I am always so amazed when a large bird can just fly so easily. Day 36

With spring here I feel like I should do a week about birds. Their songs fill the air this time of year. My mother was always a bird freak so the sound of birds really makes me feel at home and is a very friendly sound. The Yellow Warbler is a beautiful bird! It also sounds really pretty. Day 35

The last dress, but certainly not the least is a statement dress. I think that every one should have a statement dress. These are so gorgeous! Of course you can not use them all the time but for special occasions the are good to have one hand. This dress is from Henri's Cloud Nine. I got my pageant dress from there and I have loved it! They have extremely expensive dresses, so I wouldn't just go buy this, but they are gorgeous and good quality! I am very thankful for these pretty dresses :)

Day 34

Some of my new favorite dresses are lace back dresses! I love my back, it's about my only good feature, and I enjoy showing it off every once in a while. Some of the open back shirts though are difficult to wear or look hussy. With lace back dresses I feel like it's a classy way to show off my back! This dress is from Body Central again. I wanted to pick different store but it was so beautiful I had to pick it :) The front is gorgeous too!

Day 33

Little black dress day! You knew I'd have to do this one :) The staple for every one's closet should be a little black dress, at least that's what they say. I have not had one for about 4 years now and have gotten along just fine though :) I do need to go shopping for one though. This dress is from Body Central which is a place I really like! And this dress is totally beautiful :) I may even just have to go get it to put in my closet as my little black dress!

Day 32

I look dreadful in pastels, but I am thankful for them! :) I love soft color dresses, I think that they are so beautiful. I also think they are very feminine without being "girly". They are elegant but not showy. They are truly gorgeous! Lauren Conrad is the best pastel wearer I have ever seen so that is why the picture is her wearing her collection form Kohl's. Most are pastels :)

Day 31

Uhm, so cute! :) I love long lace sleeves and I actually just bought one of these for Easter. Well, a dress with long lace sleeves. Mixes of vintage and modern are amazing. This is my new trend that I love that mixes those two so classily (probably not a word). I am oh so thankful for this style! And I am thinking about having long laced sleeves on my wedding dress. This dress is from Van Mildert, honestly I have never heard of it before now and they are a UK brand. This is so cute though I may check out some more of their stuff!

Day 30

Day 30, so far so good! I am thankful for simple sundresses today. These dresses are great because you can make them look really fancy or you can just go casual with some flops. I have a few of these and I think that this is like a little black dress or a good pair of jeans, or nude shoes; it's a staple item that you can always go back to :) This dress is from Victoria's Secret and expensive but really cute :)

Day 29

So, I am not a girly girl(really) and I love my pants but there is just something about wearing a dress. I absolutely LOVE dresses! They are so comfortable and cozy, I almost feel like they are the pajama of day time :) I am also pretty short, so longer dresses normally do not work for me, but I do like maxi dresses(I would put ballroom but this is for everyday wear ;)). I have yet to find the one that fits correctly, they are so comfortable though. I am thankful for these also because when the wind blows you do not have to worry about your skirt blowing up and flashing everyone. Win win in my eyes :) This dress is oh so cute! And Forever 21 is a great store to find new up and comming trends!

Day 28

The last exercise I am thankful for is the elliptical. I am in love with this machine! I'm a big supporter of hill running :) So this is a way to get that without having to find a hill. This really does wonders for me and it doesn't hurt my joints at all because you are stationary the whole time. I think this is the best workout ever invented, but that's just my opinion :)

Day 27

I love hiking, it's like walking but amped up. I also have hiked from a young age because my parents are INSANE about hiking and especially on vacations. But there is no better way to hike than with my boyfriend! We like to go out every week and do some exercise together and hiking is one thing that we do. I enjoy having the company of someone when hiking. He's great company too :) Exercising is much more fun when you have someone to exercise with! I am very thankful for my boyfriend and our hikes together :)

Day 26

This is my all time favorite DVD workout. I'm so thankful for it! This DVD is extremely intense but you can just do as much as you want and you don't have to be embarrassed in a classroom of people ;) That's my favorite part about DVDs. You can have the classroom atmosphere but not the peer pressure :) When I bought it it was 5 bucks, so it's good and cheap! How much better does it get?

Day 25

When the weather is warm to hot out I absolutely love to go bike riding. It cools you off and works you out ;) Bike riding does not really make me sore (which I like to be after a workout) but it is a great core and cardio exercise that you can do pretty much anywhere. I am very thankful for bikes so I do not have to run all the time :)
