Day 24

I am thankful for yoga today :) Yoga is such a relaxing way to workout, not only do you get toned but you get de-stressed also. What more could you want in a workout? :) My favorite pose is warrior, it stretches my legs which always seem to need stretching and helps strengthen them. Now I need to do yoga on the beach like this lady ;)

Day 23

Today I am thankful for walking my doggy! I do not walk her as much as I probably should, I use the excuse that she's small and gets enough exercise running around the house. I really do enjoy taking her for walks, especially when the weather is nice. It's not a really good workout, but it's a good way to stay active and moving.

Day 22

So now to get into shape for this smaller clothes season :) I am not very motivated when it comes to working out, but I really enjoy working out. So I am thankful to find things I enjoy so I do workout! Today one of my favorite things to do to workout is swim. I do not swim too often because I have extremely dry skin. Swimming though works out my whole body so I really feel like I worked out the next day.

Day 21

My all time favorite color is purple :) I do not know what to say about it. Purple is also my Gran's favorite color, lavender to be exact, so we have that in common which makes the color more special. Purples are like blues to me, I love them all! But the picture I posted are some of my favorite shades :)

Day 20

Blue was my favorite color after yellow till about 3 years ago. Blue has so many pretty shades! I really like all shades of blue so there is no particular blue today, I am just thankful for all the blues in the world :) Blue can be called the color of sadness but I see it as hope and beauty.

Day 19

This is one of my all time favorite colors! It's an odd one but I think that burnt orange is so awesome. It is a very unique color, sadly it has become a bit more popular lately. I would love to have a car this color :) I'm all for originality and this color screams it! Thank you, people who invent colors, for burnt orange! :)

Day 18

So, I really do not like pink, buuuttt I have recently had this thing for pale pink. It's so pretty to me for some reason. So I have been breaking my own rule of no pink, or little pink, by liking it haha! I love pastel colors, they are very pretty. I love how delicate they look :) I am thankful for pale pink today!

Day 17

Yellow! This used to be my favorite color when I was little. I loved yewow :) Yellow's can be so pretty, and I love picture and color. When I have a little girl everything is going to be yellow, not pink. I don't love pink, but that's for a different day. This is the only color my Pa.Pa. Wayne can see so it's extremely special to me, because I know that this is the color of hope for him :)

Day 16

Today I am thankful for red and not just any red but rich red :) I love deep colors, if you haven't noticed already :) I find them pretty but in nature I find them even prettier :) So I love this color, and I had a difficult time deciding what picture because they are so pretty! This one did a good job at portraying the kind of color I am thinking of though!

Day 15

This week I am thankful for colors! Spring is here so that means lots of colors are about to come into bloom. I am excited! Spring is so pretty and great to take pictures and walks in :) Today I am thankful for deep green. So yes, green is all too famous around this time. But there is nothing like a deep green, almost a forest green. I think that is such a rich beautiful color! So that is the color I am thankful for today :) Maybe a slight bit darker than the picture :)

Day 14

So some may not agree that this person is allowed to be in this category, but I think it's just fine :) The top person that is in my life that I love the most and it the one who has always and forever been there for my is God. It is amazing how often I can feel alone in this life when I have such great people who love me and support me! But no matter who you have there is nothing and no one like God. He has always comforted me and kept me safe. I could write a whole book about how great he is and have sequels :) I have had him in my life since I was a little girl so I can not say how it is to not have him, or say that it is much better, because I do not know these things. But I do know that I can NOT imagine my life without him :) So he is my top, the person I am most thankful for. And I love him very much :)

Day 13

So, mainly all of the people I am listing are relatives. This guy is not, but he is to me! He is my Pa. Pa. Wayne. He has had cancer in all of his body and is sitting in a nursing home bed as we speak. I kick myself every single day I do not go to see him, I would never want to be left alone, but he lives so far away it is difficult to make the time. He has been my Pa.Pa. Wayne ever since I was born, he was one of the first people to hold me. And do not ask me why but he has a special place in my heart, and he always will. I do not know him like I wish I did but he is a great man and he loves me like a granddaughter. What more is there to ask for? He is an amazing man and has helped fill my life with happiness :)

Day 12

So not many of these days have just one person, I mean c'mon! I have way more than just 7 great people in my life! :) But today is only one. And that is my Grandma. We have been close ever since I was little. She was me and my big brothers baby sitter till we were old enough to be left alone. She went from being a Grandma/babysitter to being one of my best friends! I love her so much! Of course, she is always a Grandma :) But I would have it no other way. I love getting information from her that I have not been through or am going through. She can tell me things that my other friends cannot because they have not been there and she has. I have the best Gran in the world! :D

Day 11

My Mama and Daddy are who I am thankful for today :) I have been Daddy's little girl ever since I have memories of him! He's treated me like his little princess. We used to take late night wal-mart trips and shopping trips to the mall. He was busy working a lot but he always spend time with me when he could. He's a good Daddy :) My Mama is one of my beset friends. She's a great woman. When I was little I used to fall asleep with her every night. She also home schooled me from 3rd-graduation. I know that was a struggle ;) They both are great people and I love them very much! I am so very happy that they are my parents :)

Day 10

Today I am thankful for my boyfriend. He is insane and crazy, but I love him :) We have been dating for a bit over a year now. We have had our ups and downs, but we've made it! He's sweet, loyal, kind, and oh so many other things. He's a really great boyfriend and I don't know what I would do without him :) We have had some great times together and hopefully many more! He is someone who I could spend the rest of my life with! I'm so glad we met! When you read this, I love you Darlin! :) ( Sorry it's not longer, it's a late night ;))

Day 9

Today I am thankful for my two best friends. I;m not the kind of person who has oodles of friends, I just have my few, but they are great friends! :) The one I have known since kindergarten, and we were friends then too! When I left school to be home schooled we lost touch a bit, but we both had brothers on the football teams so we saw each other through Fall and then my family started going to her church not too long after. So we have been friends for a long time. We do not see each other that much but whenever we get together it is like no time has passed us. We can have the best time together. It is never serious between her and I, well on very rare occasions. We are always goofing around and being stupid. I can always count on her to have a good time with :) My other bestie I have known for about 6 years. We met on the home school basketball team. She is amazing! We have lots of fun together too but we have a more serious relationship and get each other in a way that no one else does. We have been mistaken for twins, and sisters, quite a few times because we look so much alike. I know I go to her for anything and she'll listen. We have much more in common but do not have those years I do with my other friend. They are both incredible because they are so different and I can go to them for different things. I love them both soooo much and am so incredibly blessed to have both of them in my life! :)

Day 8

This week is people. I was going to wait to do this till later in the year but I really want to write about the people that mean the most to me. They are in no particular order except the last one, that person is number one :) Today I am thankful for two of my teachers from back in grade school. One was my teacher and the other was a teachers helper. They were in two different classes. When I was a little kid I had kidney problems and was delayed a bit, I also learned differently then all the other kids I was in school with. Some of my teachers did not get that, they thought that I was just not as smart as the other kids. When I had my teacher in second grade she did so much to help me through the class. Not just with special treatment (which I did get some of), but she taught in a way that I understood and could comprehend. She did wonders to help me! In third grade I had the best teachers helper. My teacher was horrible though. She thought that I was not smart and tried to hold me back. But teachers helper would do the same as the last teacher I had. She was almost like an in school mom, and she was to everyone. She was the kindest person, with the best heart. When I would be balling cause my mom left she would hold me and help me to feel better. Both of these ladies are amazing and I am so thankful for them! I do not know where I would be or how I would be with out them :)

Day 7

And the most embarrasing post is about to happen :) The last of my room thankfulness of this week is a stuffed animal and a blanket. I'll start with the stuffed animal :) It's name is A.J. I take him on vacas with me and sleep with him at times when I am home. I even use him like the traveling gnome from travelosity and take pictures of him in different places :) I'll prolly have my little buddie forever :) The next is the blanket. It's name is blankie(how original, I know ;)) I have had it since I was probably 7 or 8. I sleep with it every night and take it when I go somewhere I'm going to sleep. So yes, I have a baby blanket, and I love it! :) It's sitting by me right now actually hah! But it is comforting to me. I am thankful for it, and hopefully one day my kids will want it and theirs and so on and it can become a family heirloom. http://cozywinters.com/popup/Cellular-Wool-Blanket.html. Day 6

Today I am thankful for my closet. I have had some pretty great closets in my lifetime. I have lived in 7 houses and remember 4 of them and have had 2 beastly closets. Nothing to write to MTV Cribs about or anything, but they've been nice :) I love closet space, not only because you can throw crap in there and close the door if you stuff hidden but because it is like my second room. I spend a nice amount of time in my closet. So I like it when I have a bigger closet so my clothes fit nicely! But my dream closet is probably the one from 13 going on 30 :) So awesome! Every time I see her pull out the drawer with the panties lined up I think, "It's Victoria's Secret, in her closet!". Hah :)

Day 5

Handmade decor :) I have a good amount of things that I have made for myself or that people have made for me around my room. There is nothing I love more than when someone gives me a functional gift. It's so perfect! Instead of something that just sits there looking pretty, it does that and holds stuff! :) Course anything hand made is always welcome. I think a handmade gift is very sentimental. Day 4

Fun fact! My favorite number is 4 and I have a 4 shape in my veins on my left arm :) So day 4, my doggie, I am thankful for my doggie! I got her almost 4 years ago and she's almost 32! (in dog years that is) Her name is Maya Nelle :) She is amazing, she has been there for me through thick and thin. Maya is a chihuahua, min pin, pug mix. She's a mutt all the way, and oh so cute! :) I could not imagine life with out my little bundle of joy. There is no doubt I love my puppy!

Day 3

Today I am thankful for my books! I love reading, sadly there is not much fun time for reading anymore. I still find time to get a book in here and there. When I was younger my favorite books were R.L. Stine, which I still do like his books. They are a pretty simple read, but I love them! :) Now one of my favorite is of course the Twilight series! I hated them when they started getting all that publicity but I got suckered into seeing the first movie and have been crazy about them ever since :) So I highly recommend them. I also like Lauren Conrad's series, L.A. Candy. They are a breath of fresh air really. Her books have a style that is not very common and a neat plot line. My all time favorite author though is Nicholas Sparks! He writes incredible stories and I never know what the ending is going to be. He surprises me every single time and I think that is a really important thing with a writer. He is very skilled in what he does and what woman does not love that a man writes these sweet love stories? It's amazing the insight he has on a woman's mind :) Last but certainly not least is the Bible, cannot leave this out of my book list of favorites :) It is the only book I keep going back to over and over!

Day 2

Today I am thankful for hand-me-downs. I have so many objects in my room that I have gotten from my family and friends. I am a bargain shopper all the way, I have an extremely difficult time buying anything that is not on clearance, or over 20 bucks for that matter. So hand-me-downs make me really happy cause they're free! They aren't always exactly what I want but I know that I'm cheap so no complaints here! :) Some of my favorite places to shop for cheap clothes are Goodwill, Plato's closet, and Dots. Goodwill is a difficult place to find really cute clothes but you can find some really good older fashioned clothes that add some spice to the usual trends out there. Plato's Closet is named brand clothes marked down. Not Gucci, but Aero and and Limited type places. Really cute stuff at awesome prices! Then Dots is not a thrift store. They have unique clothes at low prices. I would compare it to a body central, with more money in your pocket! :)

Here we go again...

So, now that I have a laptop I'm going to start this thankfulness going on again. Gotta get this off my bucketlist one day! Hopefully it will be easier this time around :) For this week I'm going to name the things I am thankful for in my bedroom. Starting fresh I am thankful for my bed. I loovvvee my bed! I have amazingly soft pillow cases and bed sheet. I do not use the typical sheets for my bed though, instead of having a sheet then comforter to cover me, I have a blanket that my dad got me from Mexico when I was a kid then a down comforter with a duvet over it.
