Day 7

And the most embarrasing post is about to happen :) The last of my room thankfulness of this week is a stuffed animal and a blanket. I'll start with the stuffed animal :) It's name is A.J. (which holds some value from the one who gave it to me) and he is an orange monkey. http://world.ty.com/newtys/tyshop_item_3dimage.cfm?item_no=36010. He is my buddy! I take him on vacas with me and sleep with him at times when I am home. I even use him like the traveling gnome from travelosity and take pictures of him in different places :) I'll prolly have my little buddie forever :) The next is the blanket. It's name is blankie(how original, I know ;)) I have had it since I was probably 7 or 8. I sleep with it every night and take it when I go somewhere I'm going to sleep. So yes, I have a baby blanket, and I love it! :) It's sitting by me right now actually hah! But it is comforting to me. I am thankful for it, and hopefully one day my kids will want it and theirs and so on and it can become a family heirloom. http://cozywinters.com/popup/Cellular-Wool-Blanket.html. Day 6

Today I am thankful for my closet. I have had some pretty great closets in my lifetime. I have lived in 7 houses and remember 4 of them and have had 2 beastly closets. Nothing to write to MTV Cribs about or anything, but they've been nice :) I love closet space, not only because you can throw crap in there and close the door if you stuff hidden but because it is like my second room. I spend a nice amount of time in my closet. So I like it when I have a bigger closet so my clothes fit nicely! But my dream closet is probably the one from 13 going on 30 :) So awesome! Every time I see her pull out the drawer with the panties lined up I think, "It's Victoria's Secret, in her closet!". Hah :)

Day 5

Handmade decor :) I have a good amount of things that I have made for myself or that people have made for me around my room. There is nothing I love more than when someone gives me a functional gift. It's so perfect! Instead of something that just sits there looking pretty, it does that and holds stuff! :) Course anything hand made is always welcome. I think a handmade gift is very sentimental. Day 4

Fun fact! My favorite number is 4 and I have a 4 shape in my veins on my left arm :) So day 4, my doggie, I am thankful for my doggie! I got her almost 4 years ago and she's almost 32! (in dog years that is) Her name is Maya Nelle :) She is amazing, she has been there for me through thick and thin. Maya is a chihuahua, min pin, pug mix. She's a mutt all the way, and oh so cute! :) I could not imagine life with out my little bundle of joy. There is no doubt I love my puppy!

Day 3

Today I am thankful for my books! I love reading, sadly there is not much fun time for reading anymore. I still find time to get a book in here and there. When I was younger my favorite books were R.L. Stine, which I still do like his books. They are a pretty simple read, but I love them! :) Now one of my favorite is of course the Twilight series! I hated them when they started getting all that publicity but I got suckered into seeing the first movie and have been crazy about them ever since :) So I highly recommend them. I also like Lauren Conrad's series, L.A. Candy. They are a breath of fresh air really. Her books have a style that is not very common and a neat plot line. My all time favorite author though is Nicholas Sparks! He writes incredible stories and I never know what the ending is going to be. He surprises me every single time and I think that is a really important thing with a writer. He is very skilled in what he does and what woman does not love that a man writes these sweet love stories? It's amazing the insight he has on a woman's mind :) Last but certainly not least is the Bible, cannot leave this out of my book list of favorites :) It is the only book I keep going back to over and over!

Day 2

Today I am thankful for hand-me-downs. I have so many objects in my room that I have gotten from my family and friends. I am a bargain shopper all the way, I have an extremely difficult time buying anything that is not on clearance, or over 20 bucks for that matter. So hand-me-downs make me really happy cause they're free! They aren't always exactly what I want but I know that I'm cheap so no complaints here! :) Some of my favorite places to shop for cheap clothes are Goodwill, Plato's closet, and Dots. Goodwill is a difficult place to find really cute clothes but you can find some really good older fashioned clothes that add some spice to the usual trends out there. Plato's Closet is named brand clothes marked down. Not Gucci, but Aero and and Limited type places. Really cute stuff at awesome prices! Then Dots is not a thrift store. They have unique clothes at low prices. I would compare it to a body central, with more money in your pocket! :)

Here we go again...

So, now that I have a laptop I'm going to start this thankfulness going on again. Gotta get this off my bucketlist one day! Hopefully it will be easier this time around :) For this week I'm going to name the things I am thankful for in my bedroom. Starting fresh I am thankful for my bed. I loovvvee my bed! I have amazingly soft pillow cases and bed sheet. I do not use the typical sheets for my bed though, instead of having a sheet then comforter to cover me, I have a blanket that my dad got me from Mexico when I was a kid then a down comforter with a duvet over it.
